There's something priceless for me.

Maybe I was happier before.
I don't know. I guess I didn't feel the storm.

I didn't realize when it started, I didn’t even notice when one day, suddenly,

It was not there anymore.

Not there anymore… but because of him I am a photographer, a ninja, someone who freezes time and make memories for others…
That is The Time We Shared

The other day I was watching a movie and some said:

That made me think… but lucky me, my friend @mariscalariza was able to translate what I had on mind.

Oh yes! I forgot to tell you this… There is life

Oh yes! I forgot to tell you this…
There is life outside Instagram (can you believe that??)

Sometimes I wake up and said (lied) to myself:
- Carmela, you are going to post this week at least 4 times!
- Do I?

Nah, I forgot it as soon as I saw another post.
Not sure about you but I found that I engaged less often with the feed, with people post but more into “stories”.
Not good actually because my stories are full of memes and nothing about my work.

I guess that should change but c’mon… aren’t you feel the same?

Any way, I am happy, works is good, life is good, I went to Spain, saw my mom an family.
I took photos (film photos!!!) and it was so good.

I am almost fully book for 2022 (3 more meetings this week and boom, agenda close) I have few spots for 2023 (hurry up just in case)

I leave this photos here, from before the Pandemic and I promise you, I’ll try my best to put a few more pictures next week.

Let me explain you my sessions work flow:

Once you contact me I will invite you for a meeting, Facetime, Zoom, coffee if you live nearby… some sort of conversation.
This is mandatory and a big step in my work.
If we connect, you are comfortable with me, we have some jokes… then we talk about dates. This is really important because if we don’t connect you won’t be you, I will annoy you all the time and then the pictures won’t be about you.

So this is not for me, this is for you.
If you like me but I don’t feel that connection I will recommend you some colleagues that will be a better fit for you than me.
How rude Carmela!!
Maybe but there is nothing that kill my creativity more than a fake connection.
I won’t enjoy it, so I won’t be able to provide you the best pictures you deserve.

So I hope we like each other in the future, many thanks for read this caption today ❤️

The day I changed the name of my business was real

The day I changed the name of my business was really simple:

I spend time with people front of the camera, I push the buttons on my cameras and that is all…

But then I meet the couples, the future families, the people… and we connect.

I am not trying force a picture, is not my story, is not my memory
but we laugh and dance and eat (mostly on weddings) and that is all.

In the years to come, I won’t be there but you will remember what did you feel in the picture and is nice (kind of magical).

The families with children will tell them who used to be before of being parents, the families without children will remember the moment they felt in love, the “animal-families” will have a moment with their pet…

They will tell The Time We Shared, because that is all this about, live, love and laugh… bit cheese isn’t it? i don’t care, I love my job ☺️

When I was a child I saw Casper on tv, maybe Devon

When I was a child I saw Casper on tv, maybe Devon Sawa was my first crush (or Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid) well I remember watching Casper in a loop.

I remember with butterflies on my stomach the moment Christina Ricci saw the real Casper, the dance, the stairs and she saw him, they dance… “Can I keep you”

That was love, it was magical and that is what I am looking in my pictures (I know right, plot twist 😂)

When the couple look each other for the first time is so beautiful, when they help each other to get ready is amazing…

Every time is like when I saw Casper for the first time…
I hope you can tell I am super passionate about this, because being a photographer is not only taking pictures, is a bit more… is #thetimeweshared
