Talk to the person is front of your camera, get to know them, for you as a photographer is another wedding, for them is THE wedding.

As possible and without being too much, ask them things they like, they love and they hate.

As the day is passing, the connection is stronger and you (the photographer) needs to know how react front of the emotions.

Read the room, let them know that everything is going to be ok, in a second they will be dancing and all the nerves will be gone.

Some times people laugh or are surprise when I tol

Some times people laugh or are surprise when I told them:
“if we don’t like each other, I won’t shot your wedding”
But trust me, is the most important part of my work.

If we don’t have connection you won’t feel comfortable front of the camera.

Your body will speak for you being tight and your face will be like those “A-selfie-for-Instagram” kind of photos.

So I am honest and could seem that I’m rude but is not.

I’m doing this for you, so in your day you will forget about me,
In your wedding day you will laugh with your friends and I will take that picture,
I will see your father trying to see you before anyone,
That is what you want to remember.

You don’t want to remember a photographer that you don’t like in your wedding day.
